Cambodia is filled with ruins and temples and while most people enjoy capturing the entire image, I learned during my trip that I enjoy taking close-up shots of things gone unnoticed. Perhaps it goes unnoticed to most, but not to me. I find myself curiously searching for these moments. When I see it, my eye gets a feast and I can't stop taking them. How do I know that this is it? I just know. My eyes and mind are satiated. Maybe this is my calling in the field of photography -- Getting up close and personal! ;) See through my eyes. Enjoy.
All pictures taken with Canon 50D and 24-70mm L lens. Pictures were taken all over Siem Reap, Cambodia and surrounding areas.

Life is in the details, right? It's similar to meditation, simply being present and appreciating the distinction between this ray of light on this crag versus that shadow cast across smooth stone. I often find myself entranced by the same things, I am just not able to capture the moments as photos.
Those photos are stunning. I especially like the one of the moss and the holes.
Thanks Girl for your kind comments.
