Fruits of Asia

Green Dragon Fruit
Longan
Sweet-sop a.k.a sugar apple a.k.a Custard apple.

Mangosteen

Star apple a.k.a "Breast milk fruit"
Sweet tangerines

Mangoes from the street vendors outside the market of Saigon.

Rambutan

The lady who I purchased my favorite fruit -- Guava

Water apple a.k.a "Styrofoam pear"

Delicious guavas!!!

Refreshing fresh/young coconuts.

I love fruits, especially the juicy fruits of Asia. Perhaps it is the soil, or the pesticide free fruits, or the polluted air -- the taste of them is just out of the world. Its not just one fruit, but all the variety that one gets over there. I satiated my sugar tooth by tasting all the fruits in this blog. I guess dark chocolate took a second stand during my trip to Asia!

All pictures taken in various markets/vendors site in Vietnam using my Canon 50D and 24-70mm L lens.
Thanks to my friend Silver, I was able to correct/add the names of the fruits. Check out these two link for more information on Asian's fruits 1 and Asian fruits 2.

Longan - yummy! You had the mangosteen & rambutan switched. Breast milk fruit=star apple, green bumpy fruit=custard apple. Great pics! All look very tasty.
