Back country Alaska

They say that the back country of Alaska is pure wilderness. I agree. Breathtaking views, pristine air, plethora of flora and fauna, etc, - need I say more. No words can do justice to the beauty; One has to soak it all.

They say that only 10% of the time, one gets to see Mt McKinley's peak at its entirety. The weather changes ever so dramatically and instantaneously that most times, the peak is hiding behind clouds and storms. Only 3% of the people are privileged to get to view of the naked yet incredible sight. I happen to be that lucky person! Not a cloud in sight. After 27 days of record continuous rainfall, the one day when the blue skies decided to sneak out, I caught the naked Denali red handed. What a breathtaking sight.

Here are some of the pictures I managed to capture while roaming around Alaskan wilderness. Enjoy!
