First picture post from Inca Trails

So now that I have gotten semi-savvy, I figured I would try adding a picture to the blog. I spent a good 20 min looking for the perfect picture to add as my first blog picture. Lets not forget, I spent well over 2 hours rotating all the pictures to the correct orientation. Sad to say, there are too many that made the "top-10" list and it was tough to pick the best. So here is the final candidate. This was one of the ruins we passed on the 3rd day of the Inca trail hike to Machu Picchu. I particularly liked the fact that no one was around when I took this picture and that there was depth to this picture. So why did I pick this picture? I guess there is something about this picture that relates to me in some convoluted manner. Hard to capture in words, therefore, the picture.
