Cabo

My attempt at "at least" one blog posting a month just flew out the window. How did that happen? Oh wait, that's life. Well, its better late than never.

My recent trip to Cabo San Lucas marked my third trip to Mexico (after Rosarito and Yucatan peninsula) this year. I am in awe with the various delights that Mexico has to offer, depending on which region you explore. Having never been to Cabo, I had little to no expectation. I was quite surprised by now arid the area was. The tall standing cactus were testimony of how resilient these plants are to the hot/summer seasons. Temperatures soared toward the upper 90F which made the pool welcoming for nice dip in the evenings.   The particular area I stayed in was void of tourist which meant vast deserted beaches, all to myself. How lovely it was to walk the endless miles of sandy beaches with not a single soul in sight. The pace of life was such a stark difference from the life I live in the US -- slow, lazy, peaceful, and restful. We all need these types of vacation. Will I be back in Mexico? Absolutely. There are so many more regions to be explored. Enjoy the pics taken from my cannon 50D and my 24-70mm lens.
