Zion

A return trip to Zion National Park meant a summit to the (in)famous "Angel's landing". You'd think a acrophobiac would shy from such a hike, especially, the second time around. Adrenaline and courage were the key ingredients to the first successful attempt. So why the second attempt? She shrugs her shoulders.

I'll give it this, there is thrill in doing something that is scary. Human and their adrenaline. Sheesh! The hike itself is not a very strenuous one, until you hit the last 0.5 miles. The narrow foot paths, the chains that are the only things that is between you and the 1000+ feet free fall, the gusty winds, are just a few things that would deter most from completing this hike.

Needless to say, I made it up AND down in one piece. A sense of sheer accomplishment, especially, the second time around. Will I do it again? She shrugs her shoulders yet again.

Here are pictures taken in Zion National Park, including pictures from Angel's landing.

Enjoy!

Your pictures are stunning! I was there and saw the same things, but your pictures reminded me that people's perspectives are different, and sometimes very amazing. Thanks for sharing.
