Evergreen state

There is something so peaceful about nature. Washington in particular is gorgeous due to the abundance of lush greenery that blankets the state. I could forever frolic whether the rain perpetually soaks me or the feathery snow settles on my shoulders. 30F is cold but who is thinking about it when you are surrounded by rustling of the pine trees and the sweet lullaby of the wispy wind (and warm clothes that I am bundled up in) ? I can be at awe at the sheer beauty of what this state has to offer but alas, its not home. Perhaps that is why I have more appreciation. If only ...

Caribbean

What better way to start the new year with the things I want to do: Post regularly on my blog. Here is the much delayed posting of the pictures from the Caribbean trip taken in Oct 2010. One might think that this posting is all about the beautiful, amazing views of the various gorgeous flora and fauna of the islands (St Thomas, Bonaire, Greneda, Aruba, Dominica). Well, not quite. Its the things that caught my attention so you will see a hodge podge of things. Enjoy!
