Pottery

Another creative outlet of mine is playing with clay. By playing, I mean, getting my hands dirty, working arduous hours in trying to create a form, faltering many a times and re-creating it with alternative methods, etc. There are days when even the most simplest of tasks seems colossal and there are days when things just flow. Submitting to the clay while working with it seems to be the happy medium that I seem to have found - a balance where both of us are content.

Here are few of my pieces that I recently took pictures of. Enjoy!

All about the moose

Yeah, that's right, this blog is all about the moose. Who would have ever thought that the moose's leisure evening stroll is by our front yard. I got a rare sighting of these creatures two days in a row. These elegant beasts can be wild when provoked but apparently they did not mind me getting up close and personal. I guess my brown skin probably made them feel more at ease. As I clicked away, the moose would pop its head of check for the noise and nonchalantly get back to what she was doing -- finding grub and satiating her hunger. How did I know it was a she/her? Well, for one, she did not have antlers (males are predominantly the ones that have antlers) and her calf was not too far from her. Besides, I got a shot of her licking herself clean (see pics). Here are my best of.

All pictures taken using Canon 50D and the 24-70mm L lens. I guess I can stop saying that for each post coz that is pretty much all the equipment I have and own.
